Anna Mae Albertson, 77, of Stroudsburg died Friday, July 29, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur S. Albertson, who passed away June 5, 2004, after they were married 56 years.

She was born in Louisiana, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elvie (Kinler) Guedry. She was a resident of Monroe County for the past 56 years.

Anna Mae was a member of the Church of St. Luke in Stroudsburg and the Pocono Crickets Camping Club. She did a lot of volunteer work in the community throughout her lifetime.

She worked as a binder in the bindery at the former Hughes Printing in East Stroudsburg. She also worked as a cook at the former Taste Bud in the Stroud Mall.

She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is the loving and caring mother of Linda Albertson of Stroudsburg; Pat, wife of James Heery, of High Point, N.C.; Michael Paul Albertson Sr. of Stroudsburg and Susan, wife of Joseph Parrish, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

She is the loving grandmother of James Heery Jr. and his wife, Angel, of Charlotte, N.C., Michael Paul Albertson Jr. of Stroudsburg, Christopher Heery and his wife, Kristin, of Greenville, N.C., Patrick Thomas Heery and his wife, Lindsay, of High Point, N.C., Shannon Heery of New York City, N.Y., Tanya Lynn Albertson of Stroudsburg and Mikella Albertson of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

She is the loving great-grandmother of Iyanna Albertson of Stroudsburg, Michael Paul Albertson III of Bethlehem and Jaylin Albertson of Bethlehem.

Anna Mae is also survived by one sister, Doris, wife of Albert Covino of Buffalo, N.Y., and a niece, Brenda M. Warner Caillouet of New Sarpy, La. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Murry and Ernestine DeHart.
