Mrs. NANCY CODY, an old pioneer, died yesterday, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. M. A. Fulks, aged eighty -four years. She was a native of Ireland and has resided in Licking county since she was six years of age.
She is said to have taught the first school in Newark The funeral services were conducted by Father De Galley. Interment was at Jacksontown.
