Mr. Goss had owned the Nazlini Trading Post on the Navajo Indian Reservation. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Page, and held dual membership in the Masonic Blue lodges at Prescott and Page. He also was a member of the Scottish and York rites, El Zaribah, and American Legion Post 6 in Prescott.
Mr. Goss came to Tucson in 1922 and had resided in Florence and Prescott before moving to Page. He had been in Phoenix since December 1966. He was born in Mondovi, Wisconsin.
He was a disabled veteran of World War I and had owned several businesses in Arizona communtities.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Inez, of Page; a daughter, Mrs. Lila Bloch of Seattle; two sons, David J. of Scottsdale, W. C. Goss of Altadena, Calif.; three sisters out of the state, and eight grandchildren.
