Norma Lorraine O'Brien, beloved wife of Rodger O'Brien of Taber, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the age of 95 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Norman & Margaret Hickson; brothers Bob Hickson and Les Hickson; sister Charlotte Busby; father and mother-in-law Roswell & Charlotte O'Brien; sisters-in-law Irene Brearly, Ann Tilston, Katherine Powell, Ruby Moore-Tilston and Della Yuel.
Norma was born November 19, 1914 in Saskatoon to Norman and Margaret Hickson. She was raised on the family farm near Laura, Saskatchewan. Norma married Rodger O'Brien on August 5, 1941. Over the years Norma and Rodger resided in various places. In May of 1998 they moved to Taber to be closer to their family. She loved spending time visiting with family and friends. Norma's greatest joy in life was her family, who will miss her dearly.
