Mrs. Claude M. Morse
Gertrude Maude Morse, wife of Claude M. Morse of Little Falls, died in the Bassett hospital, Cooperstown at 3 o'clock Sunday morning of a heart ailment from which she had suffered the past year. Funeral services were held at the Hart wick Congregational Christian church Tuesday at 2 p. m. with interment in Fly Creek cemetery.
Born in Hartwick May 23, 1904, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Musie (Stocking) Barton, and was married, to Mr. Morse in Pennsylvania in 1930. They had lived in Jordanville, Dolgeville, during the past year in Rome, and had recently moved to Little Falls. She had been employed for seven years in the Daniel Green factory at Dolgeville. Surviving beside the husband are two sisters, Mrs. Frank Liddle, Cooperstown and Mrs. Leander Green, South Edmeston, four half brothers and two half sisters, a stepmother, Mrs. Lottie Davis. Mt. Vision and aunts and uncles.
