She was born in Noxen, Pa., and lived in Carteret for the past 50 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Carteret. She was a retired waitress with Such's Bar and Restaurant in Carteret.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Walker, who died Aug. 15, 2001; her parents, David and Marie Dendler; and a brother, Michael Dendler. Surviving are three sons, James and his wife, Ellen Walker, of Kendall Park, Kevin Walker of Carteret, and Mark Walker of Carteret; her grandchildren; a brother, David Dendler of Aberdeen; a sister, Patricia Dendler of Hazelton, Pa.; and her live-in aide, Iryna.
