Lola Hannah Johnson Argyle, 90, of Spanish Fork, died Thursday, December 2, 1993, in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on April 9, 1903, in Spanish Fork, Utah, the daughter of Arni Johnson and Solveig Thordeson Johnson. She married Clarence Cowan Argyle on July 16, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on September 11, 1988.

She attended schools in Spanish Fork and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. she and her husband operated Argyles Grocery. She was a charter member on the LDS Church and has served in several positions.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters. William D and Loran Miller, South Jordan: Gerald J and Phyllis Argyle of South Jordan: Blair and Laurell Bona of St. George; Clarence J and Joyce Argyle of Whittier, California; 15 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by an infant son.

Funeral services were Monday. December 6, 1993, in the Spanish Fork Fifth Ward. Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
