1981 - Mrs. Laura I. DeLong, 95, of 2339 Hopple St., Fort Meyers, Fla., formerly of 2204 Allen St., Allentown, died Tuesday in Lee County Memorial Hospital, Fort Meyers. She was the widow of Victor W. DeLong. Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late T. Garion and Alice (Ziegler) Fisher. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown. Surviving are two daughters, Anne, wife of Peter Ball of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Lula, wife of Harry Borchers of Fort Meyers; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Ave., Allentown. The J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, is in charge of arrangements.
