OBITUARY:
"William R. Spradling, 65, Base Road South, Winchester, died 09 Dec 1996 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born 08 May 1931 in Randolph Co., the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Settles Spradling. He was a lifelong resident of Randolph Co. and was a sales engineer for OMCO Corp. in Winchester. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winchester and a former member of the Winchester Lions Club. He also served on the Randolph County Central Schol Board for four yrs. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife of 42 yrs, Fae Mills Spradling; two sons, William Robert Spradling Jr. (wife Brenda) of Denver, CO, and Jeffery Scott Spradling of Goshen; one daughter, Shari (husband Shane)Fruit of Indianapolis, and three grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer and Robbie Spradling. Burial was in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester."
