"Funeral services for Ella Q. Pfaff, 64, who died Thursday, will be held tomorrow at 1:00 p. m. at the Templeton Mortuary funeral chapel."

"A resident of Seattle for the past four years, she had previously lived in Spokane, Wenatchee and Waterville. Her birthplace was Nebraska."

"Surviving is her widower Ernest H., and two sons, Merritt G. in Alaska, and Harold P. in the navy; also a sister, Mrs. G.S. Asbury in Brewster."

"Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Quimby Pfaff, 64 years old [sic], of 1519½ 14th Ave., a Seattle resident four years, who died Thursday in a hospital after a lingering illness will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday in the Templeton chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn."

"Mrs. Pfaff was born in Nebraska. She came to Seattle from Wenatchee. Surviving are her husband, Ernest H. Pfaff; two sons, Merritt Pfaff, Alaska, and Harold Pfaff, United States Navy; and a sister, Mrs. G.S. Asbury, Brewster, Okanogan County."

Ella's mother, Ella (Quinby) Wright,died a month, or so, after she was born. She was raised by her father, Lyman Granger Wright and his parents, Pierce Granger Wright and Prudence Wilder (Granger) Wright. The older Ella's mother also died when Ella was very young and she was raised by aunts, uncles, and older siblings, as were all of her other siblings.
