A SAD EVENT

The death of the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ruhl of Lost Springs last Saturday was a sad event. Mr. Ruhl was in the mountains west of Douglas at the time, having accompanied O. L. Vincent there on a business trip, and after transacting the business decided to stay a few days. The baby, at home with its mother, became sick Thursday and on Friday searching parties went out to look for Mr. Ruhl. He could not be located until Saturday, the child dying in the meantime. Funeral services were conducted in this city by Rev. High. Mr. and Mrs. Ruhl were formerly residents of Douglas and have the sympathy of the entire community.
---Bill Barlow's Budget, July 26, 1911
Mortuary records show he was 2 years old. Burial was July 23, 1911.
