Laura died in St. Johnsbury, Monday, August 4th, after an extended convalescence. Mrs. Albright was born in Warren, Ohio to Charles Lynch and Mary Miller. She grew up in the Cleveland area as her father was a principal and later superintendent of the Lakewood Schools.

Laura attended Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio and graduated with honors. She completed graduate work at Teacher's College of Columbia University and was working on a doctoral degree in religious education at Union Theological Seminary when she met her future husband.

During her lifetime, she raised her family in Dover, New Hampshire, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, New York City and Washington D.C.

Upon her husband's retirement in 1957, she moved to Vermont, living first in Rutland and then in Burlington.
