MYRTLE EDNA THEXTON
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Edna
Thexton, 93 of Rogue River, who died
Monday, will be held at 11: a.m. Thursday
in the Conger-Morris Downtown Chapel.
The Rev. Marcus Buckley of the Unity of
Medford Church will officiate.
Conger-Morris Funeral Directors are in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thexton was born October 5, 1881
in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of the
late Francis A and Minerva Bliss.
On March 6, 1965, in Rogue River, she
married William S Thexton, who survives.
Mrs. Thexton had lived in the Rogue Valley
for 50 years and in Oregon for 85 years.
Survivors besides her husband included
nine step-children: Roy Thexton;
Merlin Thexton;
Rex Thexton, Alhambra, CA.;
Bill Thexton, Trout Creek, Montana;
S. W. Thexton, Sacramento, Calif.;
Ralph Thexton, Klamath Falls;
Albert Thexton, Tacoma, Wash.;
Mrs. Alice Corbell, Grants Pass and
Mrs. Rosalie McClean, Rogue River;
one granddaughter,
two great grandchildren and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends, who wish, may pay their
respects until 8:30 o’clock tonight in
the Conger-Morris Downtown Chapel.
