I feel that Clara is Carrie Degroot who married Roswell N. Walker on 10 Feb 1875 in Adams Co, IL. I feel that Roswell N. Walker is the son of Alexander Smith Walker the son of Samuel Walker the son of William Walker of North Carolina. I feel that since Clara's infant son is buried with her that both Clara and her baby died in child birth.

Clara (called "Carrie") de Groot was the first wife of Roswell Newton Walker, my great grandfather. Ross and Carrie had a son, Roswell Cornell Walker. Ross remarried, to Lucinda Peters of Elm Grove, they had three children: Alma, Charlie and Sadie. The family, along with several other related families, moved to Oklahoma in 1905.
