PRADMORE RITES SET SATURDAY
Weldon Pradmore, 79, Holly Creek community, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Idabel.
He was born Oct. 22, 1923, at Clarksville, Texas. He married Lucy Cummingham on Oct. 22, 1971, at Clarksville.
Weldon delivered propane for more than 40 years, and was fondly known to his customers as the "Gas Man". After retiring, he began raising cattle, which he enjoyed very much. Weldon loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially on yearly family trips to Branson, Mo. He was a member of the Lukfata Baptist Church and had lived most of his life in McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Effie Francis Jones Pradmore; and several brothers and sisters.
Weldon is survived by his wife, Lucy, of the Holly Creek community; a son, Larry Don Pradmore of Wyoming; his daughters, Patricia Mitchell, Hot Springs, Ark., Carolyn Reynolds, Norman, Sharon Fields, De Queen, Ark., Vivian Dainwood, Linda Ward and Ellen Bruce, all of Holly Creek, Brenda Kelley, Edmond, Angela Archer, Wright City, and Kimberly Johnson, Hochatown;
A brother, Hugh Pradmore, Broken Bow; his sisters, Ella Mae Sutton, Lubbock, Texas, and Helen Taylor, McKinleyville, Calif.; a special cousin, Jim Echols, Broken Bow; 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Norwood-Coffey-Leonard Chapel, Idabel. Interment will follow in Holly Creek Cemetery with Bro. Cletus Hawkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, at the funeral home.
