Frances Volk was born 3 Jun 1916, at Strasburg. She graduated from St. Benedict's Catholic High School in Strasburg. She married Mike Schumacher on 28 Nov 1947 at Bismarck. They lived in Linton and she worked at Linton Hospital and Willows Clothing Store. Member of Catholic Daughters and Senior Citizens.
Survived by her husband; 1 son, Mike (Linda) Schumacher of Bismarck; 1 brother of Strasburg; 6 sisters, Mary Voller and Veronica Volk both of Strasburg, Eva Zacher of Puyallup, WA, Peggy Sheffield of Vancouver, WA, and Ann Anderson and Jean Orley both of Milwaukee, WI; 2 grandchildren.
