Jewell Sharp (1933-2012)

DENISON - Jewell Margie Sharp, 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Sharp was born June 9, 1933 in Colbert, Oklahoma the daughter of Oscar and Sal Brown. Jewell married the love of her life Gerald Allen Sharp on March 26, 1949 in Colbert, Oklahoma. She worked for Brides By Betty for 13 years and owned and operated the Showcase for 9 years. Jewell was a kind and loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Jewell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Sharp is survived by her beloved family, sisters Jane Weger and husband Carl of Colbert, Emma Gene Parrish of Colbert, brothers, Bobby Brown and wife Debbie of Denison, Johnny Brown and wife Kay of Denison and numerous nieces and nephews. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Dennis Wayne Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Neil Brown, Joshua Brown, Norman Nash, J. D. Thompson, Wallace Lewis and Dillon Sheffield.
