John Barnes, Jr.

Death has entered our community again and claimed for its victim one of our young men, John Barnes, Jr., the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes.
Junior as he was called by his school mates was about 16 years of age and was a bright boy and was liked by all who knew him.
He was suddenly ill Saturday night, December 5, and died Monday morning, December 7, at the Lawrenceburg Sanitarium where he was taken for an operation.
He leaves to mourn his death his parents, several brothers and sisters, two grandmothers, Mrs. Tease and Mrs. Barnes and a host of other relatives and friends.
His body was laid to rest in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. O. L. North having charge of the funeral.
The entire community extended sympathy to the bereaved.
