On October 29, 2000 our best friend, idol and matriarch left us.

Born January 11, 1931 to Arthur and Stella Mitchell. Married Carl Robert Callister, Oct. 1949. They had an exciting, wonderful and loving life. Most important in her life was of course Carl, grandchildren, children, brothers, sisters and her second family, The Gowen's and all her friends at the LDS Hospital.

She retired from Litton's after 26 years to take care of Carl. She went to work at the LDS Hospital housekeeping, which for Bonnie was more like play than work. Always concerned for everyone but herself.

Talk about a gift for gab. Any trip we would take was without a radio. She talked there and back. Craig must have been a little crazy on those trips to Bandana.

Survived by Craig and Leslie Callister, Shauna and David Peck, Quintin and Logan Callister, Saisha and Tyler Peck, sisters: Donna Brems, Darlene Lawson, brother Paul Mitchell and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East and one hour prior to the services at Redwood.
