He was born February 18, 1933 one of six boys born to Alfred Leslie and Blanche Baird Taylor. He was raised in the Ogden area, attending Ogden city schools. He was very athletic in football and baseball. Later on in life golf and bowling became his passions.
He married the love of his life Shirley Baugh on July 30, 1951. Together they raised five daughters: Sheryl (Lyle) Loveland, Connie (Doug) Patterson, Kathy (David) Carrington, Vicki (Lewis) Carver and Gwen (Randy) Burton.
He was employed by EC Olsen Co., IML Freight Line for over 30 years and then retiring from ABF Freight Lines in 1992.
Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, all five daughters and two brothers David Clair Taylor and George Robert Taylor, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jack Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Darrel Taylor and one grandson Lance Carver.
Larry wanted to acknowledge and thank his golfing and bowling buddies, his thoughtful neighbors and all the friends he met along the way. He had a “wonderful life.”
