CARRIE PRESCOTT OF CANNELVILLE DIES; AGE 100
Mrs. Carrie S. Prescott, 100, of Cannelville died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Good Samaritan Medical Center where she had been a patient four days.
Mrs. Prescott was born Oct. 10, 1874, in Muskingum County. She and her husband, James, who died in 1936, operated a general store in Cannelville for several years. She was a member of Cannelville United Methodist Church and its Ladies' Aid Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Taylor of Philo Route 1, Mrs. Evelyn McNeal of Indianapolis, Ind. and Mrs. Blanche French of Sun City, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
