WILLOW PARK -- Hazel Marie Schwarm, 55, a loving wife, mother, grandmother "Mimi" and friend, went to be with her Lord Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home.
Memorials: Donations in Hazel's name May be made to the American Cancer Society.
Hazel was born Nov. 30, 1947, in Fort Worth and lived in the area all her life. She retired from Aledo ISD as a food service manager. Her hobbies were her family, friends and her pets. She was the pillar of strength that everyone could talk to about his or her problems, knowing she would give you her advice, sometimes whether you wanted it or not.
Her children and especially her grandchildren were her life. She loved them all so dearly. Each one had a place in her heart. She stood by them through thick and thin. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Mable Addison.
Survivors: Husband of 22 years, Art Schwarm; daughter, Portia Trapp and husband, William "Bill" Jr.; son, Zachary Hall and girlfriend, April McDonald; granddaughters, Kennedy Marie Trapp and Skylar Marie Hall; and grandson, Cameron Richard Trapp; sister, Phyllis Addison; niece, Whitney Addison and son, Mason; her many cousins and close friends; special pets, Polo, Maggi, Cally, Snoopy, Roxie and Kirby.
