EDWARD ROONEY DEAD
The funeral services over the remains of Edward Rooney, who died at his home on North Fifth street Sunday night, were held at St. Lawrence church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning and interment was at the Sacred Heart cemetery.
Mr. Rooney was one of the pioneer residents of this community and was generally known and enjoyed the friendship of a large number of our residents. He was past 60 years of age and was a native of Ireland, although a resident of Ironton for many years. He is survived by five sons and one daughter, his wife having passed away some years ago.
