Pauline's niece, Dorothea Brooks-Jandrucko, her younger sister, Dorothea Margaret Kienzle-Brooks' daughter, in an email to her cousin CJP on March 30, 1999, wrote of her Aunt Pauline, Aunt Pauline's husband, George Kuchenmeister and their daughter, her cousin - Pauline known as Polly:

"Aunt Pauline married George Kuchenmeister. They had one child, Pauline, known as Polly. Lived in Hastings, New York. George was a brilliant, but erratic and very difficult man. Aunt Pauline was a strong, wonderful woman. I remember them all well. My mother was close to her and Polly was crazy about my mother - and I loved Polly - still do.

Aunt Pauline, I remember, would talk a blue streak, all the while crocheting the most intricate patterns. I remember well their bird - a parrot who did talk.

Polly married John J. Twomey - they lived in Yonkers for many years and then moved to Pomona, New York. After Jack died, Polly was in a retirement home in Sparkhill until she had a stroke a year or 18 months ago. She's in a nursing home now."
