Mary Ann Ference, 318 New Castle Ave., Sharon, passed
away unexpectedly at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, in
her residence. She was 76.

Mrs. Ference was born May 31, 1927, in Sharon, a daughter of
Michael A. and Isabel Marie Becks Yesko.

A lifelong Sharon resident, she attended the former Church of the Sacred Heart Parochial Grade School and was a 1945
alumna of Sharon High School.

Earlier in her life, she was employed by the former Sharon
Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. and the
former Kroger's grocery store in Sharon, later Hermitage.
Mary Ann was a homemaker and a member of St. Stanislaus
Kostka Church, Sharon.

A very caring and loving person, Mary Ann was concerned
for the welfare of others. A devoted wife, she was married
to Michael R. Ference on June 11, 1949, in Church of the
Sacred Heart. He survives at home.

Also surviving are: a daughter, Cathi M. Fisher and her
husband Edward "Ted," Sharon; a sister, Helen T. Prosser, Sharpsville; two brothers, Edward J. Yesko and his wife Jean, Mercer; and Joseph J. Yesko and his wife Sarah,
Glendale, Calif.; a granddaughter, Michelle R. Bohach; a
grandson, John-Michael Bohach; a stepgranddaughter,
Leanne M. Fisher; one sister-inlaw, Mary Yesko, Sharon; and
many nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved
dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers,
Michael J. Yesko and his wife Mary; and John J. Yesko; and a
grandson, Bartholomew Bohach.

Entombment: St. Rose Mausoleum, Hermitage, Pa.
