Obituary (Moberly (MO) Monitor-Index, May 4, 1972)- Mrs. Capitola Eck, 77 year-old Moberly seamstress, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in Community Hospital. She made her home at 1329 Watson avenue. Mrs. Eck, the widow of Fred Eck, was born Jan. 26, 1895, in Monroe County and had lived her entire life in this area. She was a member of the Evansville Baptist Church and the LA to B of RT.
Surviving are one son, Ottis Satterly, Moberly; one daughter, Mrs. Drew Barnes, Whitesboro, Tex.; five grandchildren, one of whom is Miss Glenna Satterly of Moberly; one sister, Mrs. Iva Moore, Moberly; one brother, Harry Hendren, Madison; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Million-Greer and Comstock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday.
