Constance "Connie" Ruth Boatman, 63, of Tulelake died Aug. 30, 2001, in Klamath Falls of complications from surgery.
She was born Dec. 15, 1937, in Petersburg, Va., to George and Ruth (Putnam) Schultze. Through her life, she lived in New York; Hattiesburg, Miss.; New Orleans and Northern California.
Aug. 26, 1995, she married James "Jimbo" Boatman in Reno, Nev.
She loved to cook, especially to make desserts, and worked as a consultant for the Pampered Chef Co. She also enjoyed sports and particularly liked watching them with her husband. She was a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Mrs. Boatman is survived by her husband of Tulelake; son Mike Rusling of Philadelphia, N.Y.; daughters, Helene Segredo of Los Banos, Calif., and Cynthia Loraine Givbons of Hattiesburg, Miss.; mother Ruth Putnam of Brookhaven, Miss.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Carl Richard Meadors.
