Beulah B. Jett, age 94, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012. She was born in Cades Cove January 20, 1918. She was the oldest member of Central Point Baptist Church and served as Sunday school secretary for 44 years. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Zena Chambers; husband, Fred Jett; son-in-law, Ray Wilson; brothers, J.C., Claude, Clifford, Odis and Ollie Chambers; and sister, Mary Jean Lennon. Survived by daughters, Betty Wilson and Evelyn White, (Roy); four grandchildren, Lisa Wilson, Columbia, Tenn., Freddy Wilson, (Melanie), Clarksville, Tenn., Kim Coker, (Jeff), Johnson City, Tenn., and Jeff White, (Alisa), Murrayville, Ga. Also, great-grandchildren, Rachel and Lucas Wilson, Matthew Coker, Parker White (McClain), Ali and Bailey White; sisters, Clara Leola Austin and Mabel Bradbury; brother, Kenneth Chambers; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Central Point Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery following the service, with Rev. Chris Cupp officiating. Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Point Baptist Church Debt Retirement, 3617 Central Point Road, Rockford, TN, 37853. Condolences may be offered at http://www.sherwoodchapel.net
