NELL AARON, 72, of Batesville died April 16, 2003, at her home. She was born April 15, 1931, in Corinth, Miss., to Vernon and Vivian I. Briggs Felker. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the White River Medical Center Auxiliary board of directors, and she had donated more than 5,600 hours to the auxiliary. She was a volunteer for the White River Area Agency on Aging, the Independence County Senior Citizens Program and the North Arkansas Human Services System. She had been named the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association's Volunteer of the Year. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Aaron; one son, Tony Aaron of Marion; two daughters, Vivian Lamb of Batesville and Susan Alpe of Crawfordsville; her mother of Crawfordsville; one brother, Mark Felker of Crawfordsville; one sister, Peggy Boyd of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services were held April 18 at West Baptist Church with Ron Taylor and Bill Canary officiating.
