Alberta Marie (Crowe) Hutcheson 88 of Laramie, WY died August 31, 2012 at her residence. Born at Cleveland, OH Feb. 28, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Alma Belle Crowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wm. Henry Hutcheson, and son, Craig Albert Hutcheson.
Alberta was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing, MD and a graduate of Central High School. She was a former employee of the Celanese Fiber Corp. during WWII. She was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter #10 O.E.S., Lonaconing, MD. and a 41 year member of the Morning Star Temple #1 Pythian Sisters.
Surviving is her daughter Doris LaRue Hutcheson and husband John M. Harrison, Laramie, WY. Also surviving are sister-in-law Harriett, brother-in-law Robert Hutcheson and wife Therese, cousins Alan and wife Amy, Howard and wife Ruth Lee, Skip, T.J., and Shirley Webb and husband Clay. She leaves behind companion Belle and numerous grand Kittys.
Friends will be received Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home PA, 8 E. Main St., Lonaconing, MD. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home (www.eichhornmckenzie.com) by Rev. Fred Iser. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg, MD.
