Dorothy Lee Anderson was the second of seven children born to Arthur Allen and Jewell Octavia Nance. Dorothy loved children and was a child care provider for over forty years before retiring. She was a member of Lenexa Christian Center, where she served in the Nursery and on the Prayer Team. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by both parents and three siblings. Dorothy Lee Anderson is survived by one daughter, a niece and nephew she helped raise as her own, two sisters, two brothers, three granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held on September 17 at Lenexa Christian Church, 17500 W. 87th Street.
