Roy was born the 6th of 10 children to Lewis David and Eliza Caroline (Stark) Nuss in Kearney Co. NE. He served during WW II in the US Navy as a machinist mate 3rd class. He lived in Orange Co.California for 40 years, working as a factory worker for a commercial refrigeration company for 53 years. He retired in 1979. He moved back to Hastings, NE in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rodney, Howard, Clarence, Floyd and Cecil, sisters, Sylvia Bolin, Goldie and Lorene Hall. He was survived by brother Clifford.
