JOSIAH FULLER was born on October 30, 1762 in Windham, CT. He was the son of David Fuller and the grandson of John. He married Dorcas Holt (Mar 30, 1767 - July 1, 1800). Josiah moved to St. Lawrence county after his wife had died. His son Ludophicus died there in 1802. Josiah married a second time and had additional children in St. Lawrence county. His death occurred on December 4, 1835 in Potsdam. He was buried there in what was known as the "Old Burial Ground" (Garfield Cemetery). At one time there marker remembering his first wife and his son Ludophicus as well, but no trace was found in 2012.
