Funeral services for Clara Louise Heywood Ott who passed away August 7, 2004 in Tropic were held Saturday, August 14. Services took place at the Tropic LDS Ward with Bishop Fred Syrett officiating. Prelude and postlude was provided by Karen Ott. The congregation sang "Love At Home," followed by the invocation by Gayle Pollock, her nephew. Son-in-law Sam Arce' read her obituary followed by a tribute by Fred Heywood, her borther. A musical numbered followed performed by her granddaughters. "Memories of Grandma", a special tribute was given by Jeremy Ott and Heather Holley, her eldest grandchildren. Her brother Kenneth Heywood was the closing speaker, follwed by the congregation singing "O My Father". Son-in-law Shawn Holley offered the benediction. Pallbears were Jeremy Ott, Adam Ott, Tyler Ott, Sammy Arce', Rayan Holley, Jody Edward and Shaw Holley. Casket escorts included Marily Holley, Joyce Edwards, Chaire Arce', Julie Ott and Joan Ott. Interment was in the Georgetown Cemetery where her husband Stanley Ott is also buried.
