She loved us all and we will miss her free and untamable spirit. She was married to her life-long love, Jimmy for 57 years. She was an excellent cook and when we first moved to Roseburg they operated cafes and then second hand stores. For almost forty years she ran a care home for homeless veterans and brought peace to their lives by providing a comfortable home and plenty of good food. She was talented, gifted, generous, and most emphatically she was a free spirit. She sang and played guitar and mandolin. She loved her golden motorcycle trike and her and Dad rode in many Roseburg parades and had many adventures riding around Oregon and neighboring states. She drove and Pops always rode shotgun.

She was a loved and a highly respected mother of two sons: Dennis D. Davis (USMC, University of Oregon) and Vincent T. Davis (USMC, Arizona State University). She was always proud and supportive of her family. She loved adventurous family outings, camping, and the Oregon coast. She loved riding the trike to Reno with Dad.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Davis, her father, Glen Everett Thomas, her mother, Zelma Leola Thomas, her brother Lloyd Thomas, and a son, Vincent Thomas Davis. She is survived by her son, Dennis Davis; her sister, Clara Walle, and a mess of nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids.

We now ask and pray for the Lord to accept her beloved soul back into the heavenly arms of our one true Father-she deserves no less. We are thankful for all of the concern and prayers that have prepared the path for Patsy. One person's humanity to another is the essence of life and your love and friendship have been deeply felt and greatly appreciated.

Service to be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Potluck to follow at the Davis Group Home at 4209 Carnes Rd. in Green.
