On Thursday night Mr. Matthew Gray died at his residence on Carnarvon Street at the advanced age of 73 years. Mr. Gray has been a citizen of the Royal City for 20 years and was highly esteemed by all that knew him. He leaves a widow, seven sons, and three daughters to mourn his death. He was a native of Ireland, but he came to Canada at a very early age, and was located first in Quebec, and afterwards in Ontario before he came and settled in this city. The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
