Adrien Henry Vincent was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Adrien will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

Adrien was born on August 2, 1950 at Frisbee Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. He was the son of Adrien and Irene Vincent. Adrien grew up in all over the United States, Korea and Japan. He had one younger brother, Daniel.

As a young boy, Adrien had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Adrien was an active child who took part in football. He was a Boy Scout. In his spare time he liked wood-working. However, to Adrien, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.

He graduated from Somersworth High School in June 1967. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class in high school was wood shop.

On January 22, 2007 Adrien exchanged wedding vows with Denise Geldart at home in Rochester, New Hampshire. Empathic and loyal, Adrien was committed to making his new family happy. Another blessing for Adrien was the gift of three grandchildren, Bertania, Jorga, and Josif.

Fortunately, Adrien enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Adrien worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was truck driving. He was employed for 30 years for different truck companies. Adrien always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Adrien was an Army Veteran. He was in the infantry from September 1971 to September 1972 during the Vietnam War. Through his hard work, he achieved the rank of Sergeant.

Adrien enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuit was reading books, and his favorite author was Griffin. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.

Adrien found pleasure in sports. In high school, Adrien played football. Recreational sports included golf. Adrien was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he had the chance to do so. Tops on his list were baseball and football.

Adrien's faith was important to him. He was a member of the St. Leo's Church for 10 years.

Adrien enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included a trip to Disney World in Florida, and going on a cruise to Nassau.

Adrien was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was a miniature doberman pincher, named Pitstop (his trucking buddy). They were best friends for 12 years. His family was rounded out by a German Shepherd, a beagle, and two cats, whom he will truly miss.

When Adrien's retirement finally arrived in 2003, he was well prepared. His new life involved relocating to Rochester, NH then to Las Vegas, NV. Even in retirement, Adrien continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Adrien was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him. Later in life, he became good friends with Rich and Debbie, and William Markey.

Adrien passed away on September 19, 2011 at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. He had many health issues. He is survived by his wife, Denise; grandchildren, Bertania, Jorga, and Josif; and a friend that was like a daughter to him, Brandy. Services were held at Palm Mortuary Northwest.

Simply stated, Adrien was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Adrien leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Adrien Henry Vincent.
