The ADA Evening News Tuesday January 3, 1984 Funeral services for Jesse Calvin Daniel, 77, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stufflebean Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Buck Whitfield conducting the services. Burial will be at Wanette. Mr. Daniel died Saturday in Pauls Valley, Dec 31. 1983 He was born Sept. 15, 1906 to James Madison and Nancy Alma McDonald Daniel in Wanette, Indian Territory. He lived in the Pauls Valley area all his life. He was an Oklahoma State Representative for eight years and the Garvin County Assessor for 16 Years. He was a rancher and farmer and was also a Baptist. He served in Okinawa in World War II. He was a member of VFW Post No. 4576 Pauls Valley, the Southern Oklahoma Trail Hound Association and the Oklahoma State Fox and Wolf Hunters Association. Survivors include a son, David, Flagstaff, Az. a daughter Robbie Ann Shaw, Paoli; two sisters, Nina Parker, Ada, and Imo Bunyard, Stratford; eight Grandchidren; and one Great-Grandchild.
