MRS. C. EDMUND ANDERSON DIED SUDDENLY SATURDAY

Mrs. C. Edmund Anderson, who, with her husband had recently moved to Blair from Holdrege, Nebraska, died about noon Saturday following a paralytic stroke earlier in the day. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson had lived in Blair for many years prior to 1960.

Mrs. Anderson was born July 20, 1906 at Randolph, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Cecil and Allie Boughn who were known to some Blair residents but had never lived here. She was a graduate of the Walthill, Nebraska high school.

As a young woman she was married to Vernon F. Bellows, who preceded her in death. To this union five children were born. They were Vernon Bellows, Jr., of Omaha; Ray Bellows, of Stamford, Connecticut; Nancy (Mrs. Frank Gabby) of Blair; Steve Bellows of Omaha and Cynthia (Mrs. David Danielson) of Norwalk, Connecticut.

The deceased was married to C. Edmund Anderson in 1957.

Also surviving are two stepchildren, Mrs. Douglas Anderson (Donna) of McMinnville, Oregon and Clayton Anderson of Omaha. There are fifteen grandchildren.

In addition to the sons and daughters, she is survived by a brother, Peter Boughn, of Omaha and by two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Simpson, of Omaha, and Mrs. Clarence (Frances) Meyer, of Lincoln.

Mrs. Anderson had an active interest in the Monday Afternoon Club, the Eastern Star, the P.E.O. and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Blair. Father Robert Bee, of St. Mary's Episcopal Church conducted the service in the absence of Rev. Gates, who is on vacation at this time.

Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers at the service were Kent Bellows, Douglas Anderson, Phil Rolland, Howard Hansen, Jr., Robert Krogh, and Raymon Jensen.
