Georgenia "Georgia" Stewart returned to her Heavenly Father this past Wednesday, August 29, after a brief battle with cancer, and will be missed by the many whom she touched with her generosity and kindness.

Georgia is the oldest among the five children of Delbert and Edwina Stewart (Roxie Sorensen, Kenneth Stewart, Susan Sanders and Nancy Sundell), all of whom survive her and mourn her passing.

Georgia was raised in Nevada, spending most of her life in Las Vegas where she lived and worked as part-owner of Stewart & Sundell Concrete. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a mission in England, taught seminary and was a wonderful teacher to all ages.

Georgia will live on in memory as a generous, kind and loving Aunt to 55 (and a half) nieces and nephews. While saddened by her passing, we are comforted to know she was met on the other side by her parents and nephews, Robi and Richard, as well as the many relatives whom she came to know and love through her family history work.

Visitation will be on September 4th from 8 to 10 am. Services to follow at 10 am in the LDS Chapel at 6051 Dorell Lane. Interment to follow at Palm Memorial Northwest Cemetery located at 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV.
