Born April 25, 1910, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Maude (Numer) Coffman. She was united in marriage to Leroy Edward Bonsell April 24, 1925, at the First Baptist Church in Hagerstown, Md., by the Rev. Joseph Young Irvin. Mr. Bonsell preceded her in death July 1, 1977.
She is survived by two sons: Leroy R. Bonsell Jr. and his wife, Betty J. (Hoover), George A. Bonsell and his wife, Dorothy (Miller), and two daughters: Carol L. Bonsell and Mrs. Donald (Sandra Bonsell ) Jackson, all of Henderson Twp.; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betty J. Bonsell, one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell Coffman, Leon Coffman, Fredrick Coffman and George Coffman, and one sister, Almeda Coffman.
Mrs. Bonsell was a member of the 15th St. United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. She attended Huntingdon public schools. Mrs. Bonsell was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed needle crafts, traveling and attending the annual Pow Wow at former Bland's Park. She had lived at her Henderson Twp. residence since 1932.
Funeral services will be held Aug. 13, at the John B. Brown Funeral Home Inc., Huntingdon, with the Revs. Georgianna L. Cole and Donald E. Malliband officiating. Interment will be made at Riverview Cemetery.
