Died 1:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Springfield and a resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, conducted by Dr. Joel Lucas. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Mary Alice) Core Jr., and Mrs. Alton (Hyatt) Leggette, both of Denham Springs;two sisters, Mrs. Jessie McKigney, Springfield, and Ester Richardson, Hammond; a brother, Murphy E. Richardson, Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Doug, Vickie, Greg and Lisa Core, all of Denham Springs; and a great-grandchild, Dawson Core, Denham Springs. Preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Llewellyn Richardson; and six sisters, Lois Kennedy, Edith Bankston, Lasca Bankston, V.A. Anzalone, Velma Kennedy and Laura May Downing. She was a member of Springfield Methodist Church, American Society of Clinical Pathologists and Livingston Council on Aging.
