Mrs. Ada Dee Smith, 86, of 508 W. Commercial St., died Friday in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Dallas, Feb. 1, 1889, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Pryor officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Andrew Griffin and her husband Elliott S. Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hartman of Victoria; a brother, Roy A Griffin of Dallas; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James R. Hartman, Fred E. Smith Jr., Alvin Helweg, Henry Kosler Sr., William Kandis, and Robert H. Hindman.
