Shawnee resident Pauline Davis, 76, died Saturday, July 24, at a local hospital.
She was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Macomb to C.R. and Mary Melott. She graduated from Macomb High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
On May 15, 1948, she married Beaford Earl Davis in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1997.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Charles E. Davis.
Survivors include a son, Larry Davis of Newport, Ark.; two grandchildren, Ryan Davis of Tulsa and Sara Davis of Ada; one sister, Wanda Connelly of Plano, Texas; two brothers-in-law and spouses, Bud and Bonnie Davis and Leonard and Vonda Davis, all of Shawnee; one sister-in-law, Billie Jean Davis of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with Phil Thompson officiating. The family will greet friends at a reception in the chapel following the service. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
