Mrs. John T. Funk, 94, died at 6:20a.m. today at the Bonnie Mere Rest Home, where she had been a patient for the last year.
A member of one of the pioneer families in this county, she was born Dec.17, 1856 in Bethlehem Township, a daughter of John and Margaret Easter Bantum. she was married Jan. 28, 1880 to John T. Funk, who died Nov. 30, 1920. She was the last of a family of 10 children.
Mrs. Funk was a lifelong member of the Warsaw Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Maurice M. Berry, Worthington, O.; a son, Paul A. Funk of Warsaw, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One son is deceased.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ulrey-Ridgeway Funeral Home in Warsaw in charge of Rev. Theron Hewitt of the Warsaw Presbyterian Church. Burial will be made in Valley View Cemetery.
