He is also survived by a daughter: Sharon (Joseph) Rodriguez of Belleville, Illinois; three sons: Stanley Coffey Jr. of St. Louis, Kevin (Jacqueline) Coffey of Eureka and Stephen (Carol) Coffey of Eureka; a sister: Lee Fuerst of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and his devoted furry friend, his dog, Shirley.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Marine Corps.
He had been a pattern maker for Central Pattern Company.
