Janice Odie Linder Garnto, age 90, of the Inn at Northwood Village at Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, May 29, 2019, while in the care of Community Hospice following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Herbert D. and Odie Allen Linder, Janice was born at Dublin, Georgia on July 4, 1928.
She served as an Administrative Assistant for the JP Stevens Company of E. Dublin, Georgia. She was a longtime member of the Jefferson St. Baptist Church at Dublin and enjoyed baking, studying the Bible and visiting with friends and family.
Janice is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Bruce) James of Dover, Ohio and her beloved grandchildren, Corey (Lacey) Kilgore, Ada Walker all of Dublin, Georgia and Laurie James of Dover, Ohio as well as six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Garnto, and two daughters, Jan Garnto Baeumeland Lisa Garnto Walker.
Private Family services were held in the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home at Dublin, Georgia with burial in the Northview Cemetery at Dublin.
