ASTORIA -- Maye Parker, 92, of 304 N. Mechanic St. died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Born June 29, 1906, in Fulton County to William and Mary Gain Bair, she married Lloyd Parker on May 29, 1923, in Lewistown. He died July 12, 1981. She also was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Don (Vera Evelyn) Miner and Mrs. Russell (Neva Marlene) Robison, both of Washington; one son, Carroll of Astoria; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Fischer of Canton and Nellie Palmer of Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was a member of Astoria Christian Church, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gary Sheets will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to her church.
