FROM RUSKIN NEWS

Christian Christensen was born in Horne Sogn, Denmark. He came to this country in 1912. Answered the U.S. call for service and left Nelson June 27, 1918, for Camp Funston. He died from pneumonia October 10, in Camp Funston. The body was brought to Ruskin Monday evening, and accompanied by Sargent (sic) B.O. Hughes of Co. M, 20th Inft. The funeral took place from the Danish Lutheran church (sic) south of town on Tuesday, October 15, at 10:30 a.m.
