CHARLES M. MCKAY

A funeral for Charles M. McKay will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. McKay, the brother of the late Sheriff Clarence McKay, died Friday of a heart attack while watching a house fire at his home in the Battle Ground area. He was 79.

He was born April 30, 1911, in Vancouver and had been a resident of Clark County all his life. He was a dairy and truck-garden farmer and was past master of Manor Grange.

He is survived by his wife, Elvina; stepson, James Wilson Jr. of Vancouver; stepdaughters, Zella Berdinner, Pearl Charlson and Gloria Wilson, all of Vancouver; brother, Fred McKay of Vancouver; and sister, Edna Breakey of Vancouver.
